Problems with parameters #9

Adwords mentions that there are 'problems' with the custom parameters.

Give it time. Despite the window saying they update every 24 hours, my Adwords takes up to 5 days. My Tag window is showing this today:

So on the 24th it's saying it was last updated on the 22nd-- even though it also says updates take 24 hours.

The problem with the custom parameters I get now is that product ID's in the merchant center are different then on the page. I checked two of my products but the ID in google merchant center was the same as in the source of my page.

Okay, I'm a day into using 0.13.13 and I'm showing custom parameter "The tag is not passing all required values for "ecomm_pagetype" problems in Adwords. I'll give it another day or so to update again and see if this goes away.

@dborneman the product id displayed in the tags is Magento's product id so your merchant center needs to use the same

@studio2f thanks for the update - does it say which pages are missing the pagetype? Unless the complete block is missing I currently don't see how this one could be missing.

It doesn't say which pages are missing. Here's the rest of the dialog window:

In 0.13.13 the Tag Assistant is showing a lot of errors for me, specifically our homepage, category and CMS pages. I'm also still seeing the multiple produce in cart error. Product pages, checkout and single items in the cart are fine.

I don't think there's a problem anymore-- disregard my last post. Adwords now shows that all parameters are fine with 0.13.13. The Tag Assistant is still showing errors, but Adwords seems to be happy. It's a little frustrating that there's a huge delay in the Adwords details and the Tag Assistant is so unreliable.

This change here ac6caca465d72b153f792deed139552af8fefedc could potentially help the Tag Assistant as well.

I'll close this one for now - please open a new ticket if Adwords reports any issues after giving it time to update.
