The hardware setup should provide a medium to test main dataflow.
It is planned to:
Use bluepill STM32F1 as a eval-board for uC
Use UART to RS485 and RS485 to USB adapters to establish ModBus path
Use UART to RS232 and RS232 to USB adapters to establish debug path
Use Bosch BME280 sensor to gather environment data
Power it by 5V lab supply
Should deliver:
Core schematics (connection between uC/board to sensor, RS485, RS232)
Verification firmware
Host scripts to perform verification
Verification scripts, when launched, must query a sensor data through Modbus. Debug port (RS232) must display some information related to the state of the device. For the sake of simplicity the firmware for the verification can be written in mbed/Arduino environment.
