Error: Object {InsightsExternalData} not found #34

First off, sorry to post here as I don't think this is as much a tool issue as it is a Salesforce configuration issue, but hopefully someone here may have some "insights" :laughing:

I'm attempting to use the tool against a Salesforce sandbox instance, and while the InsightsExternalData and InsightsExternalDataPart sObjects exist on the prod instance, they do not on the sandbox (despite the fact the sandbox is supposed to be a full data clone of production).

The tool accurately reports;

Error: Object {InsightsExternalData} not found

Does anyone know / have a working implementation that hits a sandbox? Know why this may not be working in my case? (I checked under the User permissions for their current permission set, and there are no such permissions for the Einstein Analytics Upload External Data that I saw mentioned on another page).

The SF API is currently v40.0

Simple fix missed from the awesome UI Salesforce has:

Setup > Manage Users > Permission Sets > (page 2 - the big thing I missed) -> Wave Analytics -> Manage Assignments -> Assign to API user
