This should be safe to remove now, yeah @wmathurin?

I don't think we should remove it. There is no tag specified in:

source 'https://github.com/forcedotcom/SalesforceMobileSDK-iOS-Specs.git'

So it will always pick up master.

So removing specs would break those versions of the SDK.
