Describe the bug Trying to promote a lightning email template to the next stage in the pipeline. When reviewing the error message it says: "No source-backed components present in the package."

randallolson commented 2 years ago

@jremby - We are looking into this. Are you trying to merge a new lightning email template or changes to an existing one?

jremby commented 2 years ago

@randallolson We are trying to make changes to an existing one. We made the changes in a dev sandbox and are trying to promote it to our integration stage in the pipeline and that's where we're getting this error

jremby commented 2 years ago

@randallolson any update on this? not sure how else to get this to production without circumventing the devops process and messing up our version control master branch

randallolson commented 2 years ago

@jremby - I am still working on this one. I have not been able to replicate the issue yet, but I still have a couple things to try.

randallolson commented 2 years ago

@jremby - I have been able to confirm that this is a bug and we will fix it in a future release.

This issue has been linked to a new work item: W-11227182

jremby commented 2 years ago

@randallolson do you have an estimate of when that might be? And in the meantime do you have recommendations on how to push items to production without breaking with version control etc?

@jremby This will be fixed in the upcoming GA release, planned to release in December.
