Retrieving metadata failed - reports and profiles that have a "/" #217

Unable to retrieve metadata that has a "/" character in the name or file path such as profiles or reports. The error message details say that "Entity of type 'Report' named 'xxxReports%2Fthis_is_a_report_name' cannot be found". In my environment, the report is in a folder called xxxReports.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Edit an existing report in an existing report folder
  2. Create a new work item
  3. Add a new report to the work item and click the commit button

Expected behavior DevOps Center should be able to find the report and commit it to the branch.

I am sorry to hear that you have had this issue in your experience with the DevOps Center. Our team is already working on this and it will be fixed in the next release.
