What's the reason for [DO NOT MERGE] For DevOps Center use only Pull Requests? #127

Hi, can someone please explain the need for additional [DO NOT MERGE] For DevOps Center use only Pull Requests and what's causes them to be created etc?

Are there circumstances when it is safe to close them etc. I just merged the WI PR in GitHub and did the promotion in DevOps Center but the DO NOT MERGE PR is still open.

I can't see any "DO NOT MERGE" PRs or commits in my repos but I do losely remember seeing them once. Sounds like a bug, if they don't disappear.

Regardless I'd recommend promoting+merging via DevOps Center. Merging and deploying can create various problems down the road, and becomes very troublesome with large teams.

If you squash+merge that may also be the problem.
