Space: Getting information on the composition and physical structure of asteroids. #17

Bounties for Foresight Technical Groups

Each of these will run for 6 weeks, the objective is to stimulate conversation and get people thinking about interesting and relevant future science. Submissions will be in the form of project proposals for solving these issues, and several winners will be chosen for each category. A short overview on the problem, a description of a solution, and your plan to implement it are required in the submission.

Getting information on the composition and physical structure of asteroids.

Asteroid mining requires information on the structure and minerals within a given asteroid. What strategies can you come up with for asteroid prospecting, especially at the scale needed for asteroid mining?

I will submit it as soon as possible 2) astraioss has started work.

I am hoping to investigate into several aspects of asteroid composition and structure and tackle the issues that we face as humans to interpret and use this information. Asteroid mining can be beneficial for us as a species resource wise but it also has it challenges! These are some of the issues I'd like to touch on along with an action plan for how we can capture this data and will get started as soon as I can. 3) ify01 has started work.

i will give my best project proposal on this issue.
