The viewport height setting is to resolve an issue where hero images over 1070px were loading over the text, and the tag allows canonical links to accomodate the url subdirectory when built in github pages. Example: https://ryanjbartley.github.io/gphugo

This contains a clumsy fix for #49, although I see what appears to be a more elegant solution in the comments, I haven't had a change to try it yet.
