With this change rulerz is running for me again. I haven't bumped version numbers or anything, first experience hacking atom. :-)

How can I apply this workaround to my local installation ? I really miss the vertical line.

@mokhet Copy the changes from this PR into ~/.atom/packages/rulerz/lib/. That's what I've done locally.
