More and more, cloud development is becoming a thing. With VSCode's remote development mode being truly game changing, the only thing I am missing is the ability to easily manage Git. I could use things like 'gitlens' which are plugins into VScode that work naturally, but they are nowhere near as nice to use as Fork.
It would be great if there were some way I could point fork to my VSCode remote server (perhaps via my local VSCode which I believe exposes the files on the remote server on a number of ports). Perhaps Fork could produce a lightweight VSCode extension that acts as a bridge between VSCode and the native Fork application, allowing whatever I have open in VSCode to be managed through Fork.
Multiple suggestions here, but the pain point is essentially - "if you're doing remote development, you can't use Fork"
