In 2.35 on macOS Sonoma, when I search for text in a commit diff in All Commits view (⌘2) and then switch to the Uncommitted Changes view (⌘1), the dimmed find overlay artifact persists, obscuring the commit message composition panel:
The only way to get rid of it is to return to All Commits view and click Done to exit the find view.
