I'd like to trigger a switch in workspaces via some programatic way but I don't think there's a way to switch workspaces without using the Quick Launch or the menu on the toolbar which aren't easily automatable.
Having the list of workspaces on a menu (e.g. File > Workspaces > [list of workspaces]) would be enough to trigger via Keyboard Maestro or Apple Script. Having some keyboard shortcuts would work too but that brings other issues. The fork CLI would also be ok.
