2 months ago Just adding to this (Fork version 2.0.0.0): The same happens with generated author/committer avatars. My guess is that the font used does not have emojis included:

1464 explains why emoji are not rendered properly, but it seems that in some cases even the monochrome/text rendering is inconsistent:
