Git itself I know doesn't yet have an official ARM64 build and it's fine if it remains emulated like now.
Why to create an Arm64 build then?
There is already an issue about arm: https://github.com/fork-dev/TrackerWin/issues/548
Well, for performance (speed & RAM usage) - I'm seeing quite a high take on RAM over time. At least for the interface part if git is not yet arm64 ready From a huge (registered) fan of your git client
@nbsoftware I've been using https://github.com/dennisameling/git/releases for some time, native arm64 builds, never had any issues with them
Hi,
Big fan of the app and recently bought one of the new ARM64 laptops, any plans to make Fork a native ARM64 build?
I'm thinking about the app itself, publishing the .NET part targeting ARM64 is pretty easy, doing it myself for my app. Just for building, an ARM64 machine is not needed either. Git itself I know doesn't yet have an official ARM64 build and it's fine if it remains emulated like now.
Thanks!
