Is it possible to change where the messages are displayed?

The reason I'm trying to change the messages location it's because as the fields grow in lenght, I noticed that some browsers after pressing the Send Email button the page don't refresh (scrolls itself to the top), even when the message is already on the top (header), making you think It didn't send the email, and making you press the Send Email button again, since the button doesn't become greyout (disable) during the sending process.
