I have compared the plotted ForSyDe model of the JPEG example with the SDF graph produced by f2sdf3 and I don't see how they are the same. There seems to be something wrong in the conversion.

This issue was more complex and was treated in the projects ForSyDe-SystemC and f2sdf3.
