The Homebrew App Store has a much more detailed gen.py script for creating the list of apps, some of which would be useful to have in get's repogen.py

List of repogen related issues:

[ ] automatically insert \n character in info.json
[x] only update zips that have updated files (or deleted .deletetoupdate)
[x] add filesize and date to info.json
[x] support for another image inside of "detail view"
[x] generate summary of what packages were updated as output
[ ] set the DOS hidden bit on .manifest.install files inside of zip files, so web users don't see them

closing this, the DOS hidden bit would be nice, but it has little to do with the old hbas gen.py which didn't do this anyway

automatically inserting json is less of an issue now that there's the json validator on the web frontend
