@milancurcic I am working on a new draft wherein I am trying to formulate my whole abstract directed towards users rather than giving a perspective of "what developing stdlib looks like". I think you will agree on this because this talk is going to be about users of strings not developers of strings. I will take a look into your suggestions and see what can be preserved. Soon I will push my new draft, I will highly appreciate your suggestions on that as well.

@awvwgk and @milancurcic please once read it and let me know if I have missed to mention any important aspect of string APIs. And please also mention better phrases to improve the writing, if any.

I think that it can still be improved but it's better if I take in your suggestions before thinking again.
