Hi, after applying successfully the fix, I was unable to get DNS value from EC2 instance. I am trying now to resolve this.

@forward3d have you had a chance to look at this? This solves the issue for me.

We're going to need to fork until this is addressed, but we would love to move away from the fork in the very near future.
