[ Trigger Warning: This topic pertains to Transphobic Violence, and it is very shocking]
At the Trans*Code event in London in June 2018, I took part in a project to develop a TDOR memorial website. Central to the project is a dataset of 244 members of the transgender community, who were murdered.
The Project Lead is keen to educate the general public about violence against the transgender community. I propose that we assist the project lead release and maintain this data set as an R package.
There are important ethical considerations to consider, so I think this should be thought through properly, and that we seek outside advice.
