  1. Why this is important. a. Benefits: definition (“working papers”) early access, papers that did not continue to publication, early identification of mistakes. more checks on the quality, shortcut for longer waiting time in publisher companies, no cost, more citations?,
  2. A view from the past to the present Maybe introduce how they started in areas such as physics, astronomy, and how they extended into psychology and now Linguistics, SLA studies? - proven benefits?
  3. What is changing? a. Open data, register reports, preprints b. Percentage of preprints? c. Fears – less citations? , legality?, Rejections for sharing? d. Where to preprint.
  4. The future a. Statistical tendency to grown as shown in other fields? b. More accessibility to data
