commits aren't going through #8

my commits aren't going through, every time I push it says everything is up to date. I think (temporarily) I'll have to fork, and then you'll have to issue a pull request when you get back.

That's fine. But you will need to issue the pull request. In fact you can start a pull request as soon as you have a single new commit. Then just keep pushing your work. The pull request will automatically be updated. Please do this so your work is visible. Also a pull request will make it easier for me to give you feedback :)
