Feature request / Question: Podcast player directly in Selfoss? #1169

I'm not sure if this goes inside the scope of Selfoss, so feel free to directly close it if this is outside.

Is there any way to play Podcasts directly from my Podcast Feeds in Selfoss, and if not any chance it could be added in the future? If it will be added, it would be amazing seeing it supported so you can download podcast in the Android apps, and maybe even store the time somewhere so you could jump between the web version and mobile app and just keep listening.

I think adding an <audio> player for feed items with music files enclosed would be in scope for selfoss. I am less sure about advanced podcast features like reading location persistence maybe this is a place for plug-in perhaps using something like https://www.gpodder.net/.

That would be awesome. And the reading location would really just be a nice to have extra. :) For me if i could have selfoss only and not need a separate podcast player that would already be a huge win. :)

The only other thing I can think of that I would prefer to be different would be that "Mark as read" and "Mark as played" should be different. E.g. podcast could maybe be their own category? Since there is a difference in reading or listening to a full podcast. Though that is your choice was just something that came to mind. :)
