a great addition would be to be able to change settings from a webpage instead of this .ni files, that restricts the change when you cannot access your server.
Those settings could also be stored in DB, and by forcing the user to fill the mandatory ones, would prevent users to meet problems when installing.

Updates would also be much easier for user.
