What is the current status?

Currently, the remote module is used in a few places.

Other information ( Any research that you may have done which you think is the cause of problem )

The module has been announced to be removed and should not be used as per https://www.electronjs.org/blog/electron-8-0#deprecation-of-remote-module-starting-in-electron-9 and https://www.electronjs.org/docs/breaking-changes#default-changed-enableremotemodule-defaults-to-false.

Would you like to work on it?
