Create and document community compensation structure #19

@gusaus, are there other similar community groups that have a compensation structure we can learn from?

@schalkneethling Looks like I haven't been able to circle back to provide detail and show examples. There are some good examples and discussions in this 'pinned' thread in #opensource. The best, most thorough, transparent example I've seen is actually OFC https://blog.opencollective.com/team-set-salaries-ocf/

Considering https://opencollective.foundation/ is not only a key player, but the fiscal host for OpenProducer and Drupal Contribution Group, we're already in this together and the barrier to collaboration and support on their end has been nobody beyond me interested/able to represent the community.

It sounds crazy, but it's kinda true.

The good thing is the Open Startup discussion started by Ruth (an absolute innovator in the Open Collective space), could provide a clear entry for working out the details if our collectives were involved.
