Use JoyCons as xBox Controller?

So I want to use my JoyCons with games like Warframe and Minecraft. Do they register as Xbox controllers or am I doing something wrong? The Gyro controls work when I use it

To have the joycons act like xbox controllers currently you have to use an xbox controller emulator. Something like this program is what I use. https://www.x360ce.com/
