Good spot - this was a tooltip for the OK button on the "Select a Picture" add genre icon window - the above commit fixes this so that it now displays correctly
Ok, this is now showing. I just noticed that we are missing a translation for the "first alternate genre" that is provided as an example. Do you want to add this string or do you plan to remove the example?
The example is not translatable. My thinking was that having an example makes it more obvious what this section is all about for the very first time someone looks at this tab.
However - I'm very relaxed - I could just delete this example and thus leave this table completely blank.
Ok, I don't have any preference either.
@jrbastien & @londumas ... any chance when you both have some time in the next two weeks could you update the last few translation strings on Launchpad please?
Thanks in advance
I am taking care of it now. Please put the ":" in the translation for https://translations.launchpad.net/coverartbrowser/trunk/+pots/coverartbrowser/fr/+translate?batch=10&show=all&search=options "Search Options", because in France there is a space ([nbsp]) between the last letter and the ":".
Don't you mean "...in track folders"? Export album tracks and embed coverart in track files
no - quite correct - this is embedding the coverart within the track audio files themselves.
Ok I understand now
I have completed mine too. Some are horribly long. Not too sure what it will look like in the application.
For "Open embedded track folder in file-manager", I understand what you mean but is it really the tracks that are embedded? I would say this is rather the coverarts. I propose "Open folder containing tracks with embedded art in file-manager". That's how I have translated it in French.
@jrbastien - sounds like I need a hint of some sort for the translators - yes the graphical covers are added to each of the track audio files.
I'll add your hint "Open folder containing tracks with embedded art in file-manager" to help other translators ASAP.
I made some changes on the spanish translations, mostly small fixes for some translations that weren't taking the context of the string into account, and some others that seemed confused by the terminology. Thought of letting you now so you update them later on the repo :+1:
@mateuswetah - I wonder if I can call on you again to have a look at the pt_BR translation?
As you can see - a kind person has finished translating but it is awaiting review by the pt_BR team. I'm struggling to find a reviewer.
Are you a launchpad translator in this team who can do this?
If you are not - could you look through those items and confirm to me that they look OK - I can then myself mark them as reviewed.
cheers for any help you can offer.
Of course I can take a look! Tonight I'll review it and send you a reply. Em 18/04/2013 06:01, "fossfreedom" notifications@github.com escreveu:

A little bit of topic but still related to translation: the readme note should be updated.
good points - I've found this launchpad Q&A - I'll see if I can use the answer there to pull the translators for a locale.
#. TRANSLATORS: Do not translate this string. Instead, put the names of the people #. who have helped in the translation. #: src/ui/gui/help-menu.c:76 msgid "translator-credits" msgstr ""
It might be nice to add the names of the translators somewhere on the main preferences window (not sure where would be appropriate). I'll also need to write a script of some-sort to extract the translators and add this to the README. That might take some thinking.
I'll have a try and see what progress (if any) can be made.
Hello, again!
I've reviewed most of the translations and fixed some few. It's actually very good, it's nice to see more people doing this.
But I'm a little curious... what genre of music is that "holiday" one? I'm not sure we here have an specific genre for what this seems to be XD
Congrats once again with the project, you can call me once you need more translations for PT-BR. o/

Holiday genre is like christmas music and other similar music
Thanks for doing this - great stuff. I'll get the translation put into the repository asap. Also thanks for the open-offer ... I'll certainly be calling again (in a few months time) :-D
I think this one can be closed. Thanks for the great work on Release 0.8.
I'm opening an issue to keep track of changes to translation for release 0.8. This is working but will need some tune-up. Please leave it open until it is completed.
I don't have problems so far but have a question:
How can i get this string?
"Select picture to add to Edit Genre icon drop-down list".
