By default rhythmbox does not treat "various artist" albums very well - as you notice, you see one album cover per artist.
We have overcome this issue by using the "Album Artist" field - if filled then the artists of an album are correctly pulled together under one cover.
CTRL+Click each album cover you see for every track of the album. Right click and choose properties. Fill in the album artist field and then click OK. The cover view will then show all the tracks under one cover.

Hi,
the overview is nice with all the covers displayed.
But I have the same cover for CDs with various artists displayed as many as there are different artists. I guess the search/display is based on the artists tag from the id3 and not from the album.
Would you mind to change that maybe in a configurable way?
