[wish, not an issue] automatically embed cover art in actual library ? #371

Hello,

maybe it's not the better place to ask a feature, sorry.

When exporting files onto mp3 to another location, it is possible to embed cover-art into each file. I really love that feature, a real time-saver for my phone and other devices !

Is there a way to embed cover-art automatically into files in the actual location of these files / actual local library ? (would that work with file type other than mp3 ?)

I may be very wrong about that but I think embed cover-art into file is more "logical" and easy than having to put images in cache and setting databases to deal with them ?

Thanx for your work on making RhythmBox more and more enjoyable !

Hi -

yes - correct place. Thank-you!

Yep - would be possible. Probably better to have radio-buttons - one (by default) to export to another location - the other to save to the actual file location.

Shouldnt be too hard to-do. The code is here:

Tagged as a wishlist item - happy to receive any contributions. I've got lots of other stuff to make into the next version thus this is marked as "wishlist" rather than "colonel k" which is the next version.
