We've reached (or passed) the point where we should have a clear discussion about FOSS Funders Governance. I'd like to discuss this on the next call.

Woo-hoo! 😁 Thanks for kicking this off, @DuaneOBrien. I'm looking forward to seeing how this plays out. I agree the timing is right, particularly with larger companies wanting someone to sign an agreement in order to allow logo placement on our website.

Should FOSS Funders be a working group of SustainOSS? 🤔

It's up to you. You're one of the cofounders. If you want to use Sustain's social media accounts, website, or the Discourse, they're at your disposal. I can help if you need it, but I'd love to pull away from the idea that Richard needs to be everywhere Sustain is.

@RichardLitt Duane has asked @emmairwin and myself to join him as core contributors. Additionally, he has hired @amye to help with administration. We have a core team call every other Friday (today was our second or third, during which we calved off this new "governance" repo and moved a few issues over). Hopefully with @amye getting ramped up we will be doing a better job of maintaining invites and sending reminders for the main Tuesday call. The next one of those is next week.
