[ ] GEM 10.12.21 "Measurement units for coal: Outside the US, the whole world uses metric tonnes rather than short tons. Should be spelled “tonne.” Adjust labels for coal throughout to "tonne(s)"
[ ] Unit abbreviations: The panel shows units of “M ton CO2e” but M is not defined. We can guess that it means “million,” but in US oil and gas circles, for example, typically M means thousand and MM is used for million. So abbreviations should be avoided whenever possible, and when used, should be defined on the page. Also, in the graphs, there are units such as “e9m3” and “e6bbl,” but these are not standard ways of writing units. We would recommend either writing out the words, e.g., “billion m3” or using scientific notation, e.g., “109 m3”. Decide upon best terminology (broadly in agreement) and standardise throughout.

[ ] Oil should be listed as barrels not mass (tonnes). Not currently aware of cases where it is tons, but protectively (20.5.22)
