Awesome, I thought addons were supposed to be packaged in xpis but I see this is available raw under my profile. If anyone wants a quick fix, go to
<thunderbird profile directory>/extensions/{9533f794-00b4-4354-aa15-c2bbda6989f8}/modules/FiretrayMessaging.jsm
and at ~line 158 comment out the 'if (newMsgCount > currentMsgCount)' block
Hi, does 0f28d23 fit your needs ?
Brilliant - Ive just copied this over the top of the current install and it works perfectly, thankyou. I did try to implement configurability myself but I balked when I realised the complexity of adding it to the GUI with all the JavaScript functions etc (would've had to take it on as a real programming project later).
Thanks for being so fast!
Damn! I kinda missed a contribution :) Can I contact you somewhere on IRC ?
Certainly - I idle in #spacefm
on Freenode
After the automatic update to v0.4.7, I noticed that Thunderbird would flash every time I got a new mail - this is very annoying for me, I see its been added as some new functionality for this version.
Please could this be made configurable?
Thanks
