Show/Hide fails to focus re-opened Thunderbird #197

Hey,

When I trigger the show/hide (by either middle-click on the tray icon or right-click "show/hide") the thunderbird window is opened, but it is not in focus and behind the current focused window). I have to manually switch to the thunderbird window e.g. by clicking on the Thunderbird icon in the application tray.

I am working on Kubuntu 15.04, Thunderbird 31.8.0, Firetray 5.6.1

Me too on Win 7-64, CyberFox 40.0.3 (64-b port of FF), Firetray 5.6.1

Hi, is the Activate restored windows preference on ?

It was. I switched it off and now the window is focused after it is restored. I assume the intended behaviour is the other way round:

Check Activate -> Restored window is focused uncheck Activate -> Restore window to the background

Doesn't work after all. With either settings: The focus is restored, if the focus was not changed since the window has been hidden (which is what I quickly tested). Otherwise the window is restored to the background
