Kristina's definition workshop summary:
This project came through the pipeline through Outlandish, a co-op that shares the office with Founders & Coders.
The POs - Drew, Barbara and David - are all individuals who have experience working in community development. In the longterm, they are interested in developing an online hub that would allow for local communities to see what is happening around them. This online hub would also have a network mapping function that would allow communities to create new connections.
Network mapping and/or the building of a platform is not something that is in the scope of our one month MVP. Our task is to create a resource that would help others build a hub in their local community. The creation of a game allows them to examine what tools might be helpful and get them thinking about putting their plans into action (strategic planning and resource allocation).
Instructions on how to play the game
Option to play with your own reality/context
Option to play using a pre-written scenerio and potentially a persona
A deck of cards with many different types of online and offline tools for building communities. Each card has a value on how much 'resources' it costs
A table that would help you plan for how you would allocate your chosen methodologies

After our lunch, let's play a version of crazy8s together. This will get us all on the same page so that we can start to work on the Figma all together tomorrow.
