All agreed to nominally move the first 3 weeks of the course into the pre-apprenticeship for FAC22. @Albadylic to lead on working out the details with @oliverjam.
Now that we have mapped the 3 weeks to the curriculum, @Albadylic 's next action is to map meeting PO's, Discovery and User Research to the first 6(?) weeks in preparation for TfB projects.
Relates to #468
I've had a look at this and here's what I think it looks like:
60 minute session in which we invite 6 prospective Product Owners. Developers are split into pairs and we run round of lightning introductions. They speak to a PO for 10 mins, swap rooms, meet another PO, swap rooms, final PO. Each pair meet 3 PO's in total. After the lightning introductions, the Product Owner pitches their idea to the whole room (in 2 mins or less).
Timings are something like this:
There's a decent bit of wiggle room for swapping rooms, questions, pitches running over.
We run a 90 minute Discovery workshop with 4 Product Owners and developers in trio's. Ideally we have a facilitator in each room, at least for the first week.
The Product Owner leaves with a research script and is asked to conduct research with their users.
Each team of four (these should be decided before the course starts, as with FAC21) comes up with a shortlist of projects they'd like to work on (3 projects). From this information, what @Albadylic has observed of the PO, and whether they do their User Research, @Albadylic assigns projects to teams.
Going to General Circle.
Is there space to move the first 3 weeks of the curriculum into the pre-apprenticeships and running two projects at the end of the course.
