make day 1 photos part of promo for students / FAC #10

What do you guys think about this idea?

Website: (Could / should be handled by the website task group?) https://github.com/foundersandcoders/our-site/issues/425

  1. Add another tab to the founders and coders website e.g. Previous cohorts / Our community
  2. Add pictures of the whole cohort & of each individual (who wants to be included).
  3. Either:
    • Clicking on an individual's photo takes the user to that student/alumnus' personal website (do one thing and do it well)
    • Add links below the photo to an individual's github account, linkedin account, personal website, etc (different people coming to the site might be interested to see different things)

Photos on day 1 of the course: (Your task?)

  1. Ensure that every new cohort knows that the photo of their cohort is going onto the founders and coders website. (Down the line, we might want to consider some kind of formal agreement? But this hasn't been done so far.)
  2. Ask each student whether they consent to their personal photo being added. Ask whether they would like links to their GitHub account, LinkedIn account, CV, portfolio website and/or any other platform added.
  3. Get the website task group to update this part of our website with the photos from their cohort.
    Link each person's personal photo to the one-page website that they created during the application process.
  4. (Point potential applicants to this portion of our website)
  5. Encourage students to update their LinkedIn & create a portfolio website before the end of the course.
  6. Encourage students to submit a PR to theour-site repo as/when they create a portfolio website for themselves
  7. Communicate to the website task group that reviewing & merging these PRs is their responsibility
