December Monthly!

What are your thoughts on this being a monthly and a FAC Christmas party at the same time?

Me and @des-des asked at the Victoria and here is what they can do: sit-down meal

• can seat 35-40 upstairs
• £21 2 course meal
• £26 3 course meal

no dinner - just 🍻

• hire the upstairs (standing capacity is ~50
• cost £150 if the taking behind the bar is less than £400
• but if a lot of us are going then the taking should easily be more.

What do you guys think?

we could cook at fac then go get watered at the victoria? start really early, do secret santa etc, i am happy to commandeer one oven!

@sohilpandya @des-des Amazing idea! I would be happy with dinner or with just drinks to be honest. I like Ronan's idea of cooking at FAC first and then going to the Victoria.

I know that booking the closer to Christmas get increasingly harder... Not to mention that people start going home for Christmas.

Unless people think it is too soon, I think we should do next weekend (the 1st, 2nd or 3rd)! I think it would be fun for it to be the 1st of December and start the Christmas festivities early!

@ronanyeah when do you leave for Dubai, or are you gone now?

I think with enough people going £400 bar/food should be no problem. Even if only 20 people show up (unlikely), we would only have to spend £20 each.

Nelson and I can't do Friday 2nd as my parents are in town for the day and have booked a family meal that night but that shouldn't stop it from going ahead! Totally agree with @natalialkb and @sohilpandya on the venue :+1:

OK so I've booked the upstairs at Victoria for the 2nd December from 6pm onwards. 🎉☺️🙌 They'll be sending me over an email with some potential food options so if we want to pre-order in bulk we can do so.

I know @minaorangina said she'd be ok to send over the email to the FAC mailing list too! Might be worth talking to her @NataliaLKB although it needs to happen tomorrow! 😬😊
