A spell added via an Item Choice advancement does not have its Source Class set #4727

Possibly only if the spell is dropped onto the advancement (in a "pick any 6th level spell" kind of Item Choice advancement).

The added spell should be able to derive the source class given that it is added via a class (or subclass).

I think I've also had this same issue, though I wasnt exactly sure of it at the time. Was using Item Choice accept drops for replacing sorcerer bloodline spells for my attempt at the Tasha's subclasses

I've noticed this too but want to point out it only seems to do this with the class itself, not the subclass (where tags are applied appropriately). It also does this only at level 1. Every advancement after that applies the tag as normal.
