Preview audio or video files in the FilePicker before choosing them. #5808

Feature Summary

Add a play button to supported files (e.g. webm, ogg, mp3) so that it easily allows one to preview what is being selected

User Experience

Whenever users are navigating through the File Picker, if there are media files that can be played (audio or video) the play icon should be displayed. User clicks play button and it plays. They can click pause and it pauses

Priority/Importance

This is a QoL feature Currently, the workaround would be to install modules that provide this functionality, although it could potentially be part of CORE.

Combat Themes revealed how nice it is to hear a soundfile - images are easy to visually preview, audio not so much. We should attach a button that plays the sound when clicked.

This would make it easier to select sounds for various functions by allowing you to "preview" them in the same way that our thumbnails do for images
