Change "gender" on character sheet to "pronouns" to be more inclusive inline to the official PF2e character sheet #886

(Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this, I've been told to bring up issues/suggestions on the gitlab so here I am.)

All of the new Pathfinder 2e character sheets list Pronouns primarilly over gender (just take a look at the PF2e beginner's box character sheets, and the official character sheet doubles as gender/pronouns).

As a nonbinary person myself, I can assure you that it is much easier/more simple to just have "Pronouns" as the default instead of gender, unless you would want to create the double box like the official character sheet (Gender & Pronouns:____), that would also be greatly appreciated.

The reason for this is for people/situations where the broad "gender" does not encompass how that person would like to be referred to. Some examples: nonbinary who prefer he/they or she/they pronouns, nonbinary who prefer xe/xem/xeir pronouns, etc. It just seems easier, more inclusive, and helps normalize asking/knowing someoned preferred pronouns. Even for folks who would just put "female" normally, putting "she/her" is just as easy and means the same thing. Or, again, if it were changed to be "Gender/Pronouns" that would be the best of both worlds!

Lastly, for the potential response/reaction of "well if you want to know someones pronouns just ask them, we dont need to change for that", let me just say that the same exact logic then applies to having "gender" even listed at all. If you want to know or if youre unsure, just ask, right? And also, Paizo made an active decision to update the character sheets in this way. Intentionally leaving this out is just sort of regressing into PF1e and more traditional ways of things.

Anyways, thanks for taking the time to read this! It would mean a lot to not only just me, but many people of the queer community who also play the game! We love what y'all have been doing so far in making PF2e for Foundry the incredible system that it is, and we appreciate all of you who work so hard to accomplish this!

FYI - glad you pointed it out. The game I played with Paizo staff had Alex, their organized play assistant, playing with a character who used the 'they/them' pronoun combination (which I didn't deal with perfectly, but I also changed the gender of a Druid NPC because GMing is hard). But TTRPG is supposed to be inclusive. This isn't even a change that anyone would debate and I'm surprised no one caught it yet. I think sometimes we are just too caught up in the coding :)
