Dragged pieces shift to the right of the mouse pointer on left and right edges of the board

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Grab piece
2. Drag to left or right 

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Piece should stay directly under mouse pointer.
After a certain point, the piece shifts to the right of the pointer. If you 
keep moving, the piece disappears.

Does it happen every time?
Yes, with every piece and with show cords on or off.

What version of the product are you using?
PyChess Anderssen 0.12beta1

Did you use an installed version of PyChess or did you run in from a
tarball/svn?
Installed

Please provide any additional information below.
Pictures attached. The last picture shows the piece disappearing on the left 
side. It happens further out on the right side.

Please attach the latest pychess logfile. It's in a hidden folder, under
your homedirectory, named ".local/share/pychess/"
