What steps will reproduce the problem?

I was playing in fics and suddenly pychess crashed.
Fortunately I was losing, but i usually like to thank for a game before resign 
:) 

I haven't seen  this crash before.

its a scm head version

Do you remember what was happening right before the crash? For example: you 
started to move a piece or your opponent move came in, or anything similar?
Can you attach the pychess logfile from ~/.local/share/pychess/ please?

If I remember correctly it was my turn, just noticed that I'll be checkmated in 
his next move. I'm not sure if I was just starting to move a piece.

Thx! Maybe some new version of gtk/gobject (or related) packages caused the 
crash. The .log.gz seems normal.
