faster way to chat with opponent on FICS #851

Maybe I'm missing something but if you want to talk to your opponent on FICS 
you have to go to the user list, wait for it to load perhaps if it's your first 
time clicking on that tab and then type his name until he shows up. Shouldn't 
there be a menu item under "Actions" to chat? Is there some easier way to open 
the chat I haven't found?

pychess 0.12-beta3 on debian testing.

Do you have chat sidepanel enabled on Preferences-> Sidepanels? That sidepanel 
is the primary place to chat with your opponent. But you can always use the 
console to do any talk activities too. See

I had no sidepanels showing at all. Sorry for the noise, this seems perfectly 
fine.
