How do I remove and recover my disk space? #526

I probably should have never installed this on my machine. Nothing in Linux comes easy. Just one painful lesson after another. I managed to get Mac installed and changed the screen resolution using the EFI/Clover/config.plist. Turns out I input the wrong resolution. Went back and tried to reset the values but now the config.plist will not load an actual file that can be edited in TextEdit. Tried erasing the disk and reinstalling but the resolution issue persists. Searched online for an answer but couldn't find. Now I regretting my decision to go down this road and would like to simply remove the software and recover the wasted disk space on my hard drive but not sure how to do that without creating more pain for myself. Can you help?
