How to delete the tun/tap interface? #626

I followed the networking guide to make a bridged network, without success, but now I have on my host system this tap0 interface that keeps bothering me with connection failed notifications and I've tried many ways to delete this tun/tap interface but with no luck. How do I properly delete it?

I figured out how to solve it: I had to delete some files related to the interface in /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections.
