Can't boot after upgrading to Sonoma #632

Open petertoth-dev opened 1 month ago

There are two issues with the current Readme

a) The basic storage (64GB) is too low, not possible to upgrade the system, it runs out of space even if I want to upgrade immediately after a fresh Catalina install

b) I re-installed everything on a bigger disk qemu-img create -f qcow2 MyDisk.qcow2 512G

But when I upgrade to Sonoma, it can't even boot the Sonoma installer: image

Now I am completely stuck, because I can't even boot the system anymore. I am not sure what to do.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X 16-Core Processor

Same issue here when trying to upgrade to sonoma. BTW, i've found that probably the minimum space you want to give your virtual disk in order to upgrade is about 100 GB. Then again, since upgrading seems impossible at the moment you are better off not doing this.
