Merge InGidio and Gamertiser's front page? #89

Why do we need 2 front pages anyway? this requires some thought

foxnewsnetwork commented 12 years ago

the InGidio site is for game-developers and people who have content while the gamertiser site is for people who wish to sell products. The target market for those two are different so, for the purposes of A/B Testing, we should keep them separate.

Also, please put up a join-our-beta form on both pages and advertise to the game-dev board on reddit among other places. Feel free to link to http://crunchymall.com to for a live demo.

However, gamertiser handles both accounts (game-devs/product sellers). In addition, aren't we our own product seller to begin with? It seems redundant since the inGidio website links the code to 2 other websites for implementation (which can cause confusion since both Easy Mode and Hard Mode have different API access points). And all the account management and demo is handled on other websites. I do not know any other websites that does this.

This is in addition to the fact that we are maintaining 3 code bases for one thing. And InGidio runs on an empty code base.

SpinnakerSix commented 12 years ago

this is means that inGidio will have to redirect a game-dev to gamertiser for sign ups.

solution: actually I'm going to keep everything the way it is now just add sign up sheets to both site's front page. the current ingidio/front url will redirect to the current homepage and ingidio/demo will redirect to crunchymall/rpg. anything more than this requires too much refractoring of code.

sign up pages added. check them out at the respective urls

original front pages moved to "root_url/front"
