Manage refinement sessions with browser extensions

Proposal

It could be helpful to reduce context (tab) switching when managing refinement sessions.

Status quo

To start a refinement session users must:

• Go to unrefined home page
• Insert the ticket URL, hit Start button

But if the ticket URL is not in the clipboard, the user have to switch to the ticketing system and copy the URL and go back to the homepage, which is not ideal. The same applies when estimating a new ticket in a live refinement session.

Solution

Create a browser extension that can help to manage refinement sessions:

• Create a new refinement session from the ticket page
• Estimate new tickets
• Watch results
• Estimate tickets directly from their page in the ticketing system
